Jazz Strut @ Northampton Jazz Festival

I’ll be singing with my long-time collaborators Molly Flannery on keys, Bill McCormack on bass, and Miki Matsuki on drums at Spoleto in downtown Northampton! We’ll be playing some original tunes, some jazz and Brazilian standards, some Joni Mitchell, some Laura Nyro, some classics in translation from English to Portuguese and back! The Northampton Jazz Strut is the kick-off to the annual Northampton Jazz Festival . On Friday, from 4:30 pm til midnight, the Jazz Strut features free evening jazz performances in breweries, bars and restaurants throughout downtown Northampton. Each ensemble starts at 45-minute or hour intervals and plays for two hours, so you can be sure to catch a lot of live jazz and good times on Jazz Strut night!
